Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using InsightGuard.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using InsightGuard, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

InsightGuard is a SaaS platform that monitors Google Analytics 4 data and sends automated alerts when anomalies are detected. We provide read-only access to your analytics data. InsightGuard is operated by Insight Wert, based in Germany.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when registering for an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use this service
  • One account per person or organization
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

  • Free plan: Available indefinitely at no cost with limited features
  • Paid plans: Billed monthly or annually via Stripe
  • Prices are listed in EUR and include applicable VAT
  • Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for the full year
  • No refunds for partial billing periods
  • We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days written notice

5. Cancellation and Termination

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
  • Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period
  • After your billing period ends, your account reverts to the Free plan
  • We may terminate accounts that violate these terms with reasonable notice
  • Upon account deletion, all your data is permanently removed within 24 hours

6. Google Analytics Data

  • You grant InsightGuard read-only access to your GA4 data via Google OAuth
  • We never modify your GA4 configuration or data
  • We do not store your raw GA4 data — only alert results and scan summaries
  • You can revoke access at any time from your Google account settings
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary permissions to grant InsightGuard access to the GA4 properties you connect

7. Acceptable Use

You may not use InsightGuard to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Access data you do not have permission to access
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the service
  • Resell or redistribute the service without written permission
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
  • Use automated systems to access the service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use

8. Limitation of Liability

InsightGuard is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to your use of InsightGuard shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Service Availability

We aim for 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance where possible. We shall not be liable for any downtime or service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

10. Intellectual Property

InsightGuard and all its content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to the software, algorithms, design, text, and graphics — are owned by Insight Wert and are protected by German and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before significant changes take effect. Continued use of InsightGuard after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Germany.
